Hans antihjälte har fascinerat, roat och ibland skrämt oss."Detroit Stories" är ett hommage till Coopers hemstad Detroit och till musiken därifrån, som kom att prägla honom djupt. 1970 spelades albumet "Love you To Death" in i Detroit med Bob Ezrin som producent. Nu, 50 år senare, har Alice Cooper återvänt till sin gamla hemstad, valt att spela in sitt senaste alster med Ezrin som producent och slutit cirkeln. Albumet gästas bland annat av Wayne Kramer (MC5), Johnny "Bee" Badanjek (Detroit Wheels) och Motor City Horns.

Preceding the landmark event, fans were also treated to a live performance of Europe's latest album War of Kings, a release which re-established Europe as one of the top classic rock bands in the world.
